About Dropbox

Dropbox is a file hosting service for consumers and businesses.

Form Breakdown

  • Interesting that they have two different funnels depending on what CTA you click:
    • If you click the CTA on the homepage (likely because you are a consumer), you take a quick quiz and are able to get the freemium plan (see video above)
    • If you click Get Started in the nav (likely because you are a business), you have to enter your billing info and pay for a plan before creating an account
  • I didn’t give Dropbox a great rating because the two funnels are confusing and the consumer quiz seemed like a way to upsell me into a business plan
